Fat Transfer to the buttocks and breast can allow for an enhanced body contour without implants. Liposuction is performed from areas containing excess fatty pockets. This fat is processed and then injected carefully in the buttocks and breasts for a completely natural look.
How long is recovery?
Recovery for the buttocks is longer than the breasts because limited sitting is required for two weeks. Also time is necessary for the areas of the body that underwent liposuction to heal. Generally one-two weeks to return to work is required.
When will I see results?
You will see results immediately but final results are not apparent for at least six months.
How much fat will survive?
Fat transfer can be somewhat unpredictable because all of the fat will not survive in its new location. The expected fat survival can vary from %50-75%. Because fat survival is not predictable, a patient can receive the very best results if fat transfer is done more than once.
How dramatic are the results?
The final size of the buttocks and breast will depend on multiple factors such as the amount of extra fat present in the body available for harvesting, the tightness of the breast and buttocks skin, the presence of tobacco use or diabetes and the general health of the patient.
